Lets digress from jargon and science for a moment (some of you are thinking oh thank god) to discuss opposing forces. It's not science, stay with me. It will be a short read because what I have to say on the subject is critical to my work, ethically, spiritually, scientifically, me-ly. This is critical for what we are doing at Humans Are Evolving.

There are opposing forces in the world. Strongly recommend streaming If a tree falls in love with a river while you read this. There is magic and there is science. No, we cannot see magic in the same ways that we observe empirical science... yet. Does that mean it does not exist? For some people, the inability to hold the proof, the doubting Thomases of the world, negates the existence of a phenomena. I would like to make a case for those people, and their perspective. They are begging us with their staunch opposition to prove that our observations are valid. They want to see evidence that when we experience synchronicities, it is BECAUSE we meditated for so XX hours for XX days/months/years. They are asking us to consider with our minds what we know in our hearts. And then to show them, so they can practice these modalities, too.

I hear spiritualists and coaches in my space constantly talking about how the spiritualist naysayers "aren't their people." I hear that they will be left in the dust in 2027 during the "Great Divide" ... I hear so many things like this! I don't buy any of it. It doesn't sit with what I know of God. It doesn't sit with what I know of the battle between good and evil. Specifically, that I myself am the dam between humanity's downfall and its success. It may hit as hyperbole, but we must defeat our own demons if we are to evolve, and ultimately Star Wars the shit out of the future of humanity. Start with the woman in the mirror. But I digress.

Instead of oppose the doubters, grouches, religious zealots, atheists, eye rollers, or people who are just trying to live a simple life so can't be bothered with all the work we (the lovers, the dreamers, and me) (listen to this after If A Tree Falls In Love!) do, we need to hear them. They are part of all of this, too. That's why I started this work as The Unifier. I want to bridge science and spirit, sure, following in the brilliant footsteps of Dr. Tara Swart, Biologist Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, and Scientist Stuart Vyse among countless others working to map the human experience through brain scans and empirical observation. The work they are doing is allowing us to get better at being human. I myself see magic; you heard it here first folks. I include synchronistic stories at the end of each one of my podcast episodes. I catch the fact that I was pining after a weird old Decemberist song and then it comes on in Lowes. I dream about a friend and they call. I call this magic, but is it?

In reality, sure, what I perceive as magic could be attributed to various factors. These include psychological phenomena such as confirmation bias, where we remember the times our thoughts coincided with events and forget the times they did not. But the feelings/observations for some of us (especially the meditators) are so deep that to dismiss them as confirmation bias is just as unrealistic to us as calling it magic is to the naysayers. Ultimately, I want to bring people together- we have to come together. Our perception differences do not diminish the wonder or significance of these experiences; they simply highlight the diverse ways we interpret and find meaning in our human lives. So, while what I call "magic" might not be "magic" in the traditional sense (and it might be), my experiences represent the profound and mysterious connections people are able to experience, which enrich our human experience and understanding of the world.

This work- the blog, the theta healing, the podcast- is to unify people through unifying ideas. Kurt Vonnegut said "...the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured." If we can bridge the divide between our own truths, we will evolve.

For those of you who want simplicity, it is that simple.

For the immoveable objects of the world, this unstoppable force loves you very much.
